Glue has been used on the attachment to the camera (probably to reinforce the weakest part of these attachments)
Here are the measurements of the 'shoe' that fits into the 'shoe' slot on your camera...in both mm and inches...lip is 3/4" (19mm)...INSIDE OF LIP is 1/2" (11mm) of course this is the centre of the flash unit
